Botanix is a fully decentralized Layer 2 solution built on Bitcoin, leveraging its security and decentralization for dApp development. By combining the flexibility of the Ethereum Virtual Machine with the robustness of Bitcoin, it introduces a Proof-of-Stake consensus on top of Bitcoin's Proof-of-Work, securing stakes with Bitcoin in decentralized multi-signature wallets within the Spiderchain network, enhancing security and decentralization.
