City Protocol is an on-chain platform for buying hedge-fund-style strategies and baskets of US stocks while staying in stablecoins. The app individuals actually touch is its flagship, Venzo, where four yield vaults run by outside asset managers sit on the same screen as baskets that let you hold tokenized US stocks in your own account. Its own token has yet to be issued, and what is live right now is Season 2 of Polis Points, the points that accrue on deposits into Venzo.
What Is City Protocol | What You Can Do on Venzo
City Protocol is the machinery that builds and distributes the products, and Venzo is the app individuals use to buy them. Either way the entry point is a USDC or USDT deposit and no brokerage account is required, though the terms state that some products may require identity verification.
| Item | Details |
|---|---|
| Chains | Vaults on Arbitrum and Ethereum; stock baskets on BNB Chain and Base |
| Category | On-chain structured products (yield vaults and stock baskets) |
| Stage | Mainnet live. No native token issued yet |
| Funding | $4M Pre-Series A in August 2026; $11M in total including seed |
| Excluded regions | United States, mainland China, Hong Kong and sanctioned jurisdictions (per the app's first-time consent screen) |

Its predecessor was Cooking City, which in 2025 ran a memecoin launch platform on Solana. The $7M seed round dates from that period, and the move into structured products came in 2026. The older participation steps still sitting on third-party sites — Galxe quests, holding a particular memecoin — have no connection to today's Venzo.
Inside the Stablecoin Yield Vaults, and What They Cost
A vault is a product where the USDC or USDT you deposit is traded directly by an outside asset manager. The manager is a curator assigned to each vault rather than Venzo itself, and it can only run strategies within an approved scope.
| Vault | Manager and strategy | Displayed yield | Withdrawals |
|---|---|---|---|
| Delta-Neutral Prime USD | Liquid Alpha / market-neutral trading that cancels out price moves | 7.83% APR | Minimum 7 days after the request, then processed daily |
| JUSD Fixed-Rate Credit | JPEG Trading / fixed-rate lending and market making | 11.8% APY | Weekly |
| Affinity Quant Credit | Affinity / statistical arbitrage | 8.43% APY | Monthly |
| Pro Lend PLUS | Bitlend Pro / supplying exchange margin-lending markets | 8% APY | Monthly |
Market-neutral, or delta-neutral, means holding equal long and short exposure so that gains and losses from price moves cancel out, leaving only funding payments and fee income. The figures in the table are what the app displayed on September 24, 2026. The yields are net of fees and are not promised interest rates.
Fees differ from vault to vault. Delta-Neutral Prime USD charges no management fee and a 20% performance fee on profits. JUSD Fixed-Rate Credit charges no management fee and a 0.2% performance fee. City Protocol takes up to 30% of the fees a vault collects as an infrastructure charge, but it is paid in newly issued vault shares rather than cash.
Where they really differ is the withdrawal terms. Even Delta-Neutral Prime USD, the easiest to exit, makes you wait at least seven days after the request before it enters daily processing, and the other three can only be exited on a weekly or monthly schedule.
Among other places to park the same stablecoins, Ethena, which generates yield from a synthetic dollar takes one to seven days to unstake sUSDe, while Morpho, a lending market lets you exit instantly as far as available liquidity allows. Venzo's vaults are designed to pay for the longer lock-up with yield.
OTP: Holding Tokenized Stocks in a Single Transaction
OTP, or On-chain Token Portfolio, is a product that lets you buy several tokenized US stocks together in one transaction.
What sets it apart from fund-style index products is who holds the shares you buy. The usual design pools capital with the manager and hands out a single kind of share token; OTP creates no pool at all. Connect a wallet and a smart account is created just for you, and the stock tokens you buy land there directly. Seven names show up as seven holdings, and you can later sell or transfer just one of them.
Making that work requires separating custody of the keys from the authority to place orders. Venzo splits the key in two through Privy, an embedded wallet, so that you keep hold of your key and hand over only the revocable right to place rebalancing orders. A purchase executes in a single transaction, split according to the published weights — one-seventh each in the case of Magnificent 7.
Three are available right now.
- Magnificent 7 (MAG7): seven large-cap tech names via bStocks on BNB Chain. +13.2% over the past year
- Fantastic 4 (FAN4): four Coinbase Tokenized Stocks on Base, executed on Aerodrome. +23.9% over the past year
- Elon Musk Mega 2: Tesla and SpaceX at half each. −20.2% over the period disclosed

The only cost spelled out is a 0.1% execution fee on purchase, with a minimum purchase of 1 USDT. You can try it with a small amount, but it is worth knowing upfront that the underlying stock tokens themselves are issued for users outside the United States.
You could build the same basket with seven purchases on xStocks, which handles tokenized stocks one name at a time. That route costs no execution fee and needs no extra account, but keeping the weights in line is left to you.

How to Earn Polis Points, and Where the Airdrop Stands
Polis Points are the project's own points, accruing daily according to how much you have deposited into Venzo and for how long. The app carries a disclaimer stating that the points are non-binding and discretionary, and guarantee no token allocation, no value and no conversion rate.
| Program | What you get | Requirements and deadline |
|---|---|---|
| Polis Points Season 2 (City Protocol) | Polis Points (the project's own points) | Hold a balance in an eligible Venzo product. Runs September 3 to October 30, 2026 |
| City Rewards (City Protocol) | Up to $20,000 worth of $CP (denominated in an unissued token) | Sign in to Viral City, a mini app on Base App, and complete tasks |
The base rate is one point per dollar deposited per day, and multipliers apply on top. A vault deposit earns 3x and the Magnificent 7 basket 10x. On top of that come 1x to 4x by balance size, a Genesis multiplier set by when you deposited, and a Loyalty multiplier that rises with the number of days the same funds stay in place. Under the referral program, the referrer receives 15% of what the referee earns and the referee gets 5%.

The native token remains unissued. The ticker in the official docs is $CIT, while the Base App campaign and older materials say $CP, so the naming is not consistent. The allocation table gives the community 15%, but neither the total supply nor the distribution timing has been published.
How Much Can You Verify About the Funds and the Operation?
Backing for the balances is published on an external dashboard, and vault balances can also be counted straight off the blockchain. What the counting reveals is less the headline total than how lopsided the breakdown is.
Summing the three in-house vaults on Arbitrum through the official indexer gives balances of about $63.57M across 571 depositing wallets. Of the $11.46M held in JUSD Fixed-Rate Credit, $11.29M sits in a single wallet.
Note: vault balances and wallet counts were retrieved by our editorial team from City Protocol's official subgraph on September 24, 2026.
On a page published by a third party, Accountable, the reserves, outstanding shares and collateral ratio of three vaults are updated every 15 minutes. As of September 24, 2026 the collateral ratio was about 113% and reserves about $62M.

The vault contracts have been audited by Zenith. For the market-neutral vault, the docs carry audit reports from three firms including Pashov and Spearbit. Investors include Dragonfly, Jump Crypto, CMT Digital and Mirana Ventures, for $11M raised in total. Founder Jerome Wong is a co-founder of the Hong Kong investment firm Everest Ventures Group and came out of the investment banking divisions of HSBC and UBS.
On today's Venzo, the side an individual can try with a small amount is the stock baskets. Judging by the withdrawal terms and balances skewed toward large holders, the vaults look like products built on the premise of serious money parked for a long time. The multiplier design points the same way: with 10x on the baskets and a multiplier that climbs with balance size, the same number of days is more efficient for a large holder, and small participants end up thin in the allocation. What remains unknown is two things — what the points will convert into, and whether the balances stay after Season 2.
How to Use Venzo | From Deposit to Withdrawal
Connect a wallet and hold USDC or USDT on a supported chain, and you can buy. The thing to check before you start is regional eligibility.
Prepare a wallet and deposit assets
- Get an EVM-compatible wallet such as MetaMask and send USDC or USDT to the chain of the product you want to buy.
- Gas is on you, so keep a little of each chain's native currency on hand as well.
- Open the Venzo app and review the terms of use and the regional conditions on the consent screen that appears the first time.
Deposit stablecoins into a vault
- Pick a vault on the Explore screen, enter an amount in the Deposit field, and sign the approval and deposit transactions.
- The deposit returns a share token — aprimeUSD in the case of Delta-Neutral Prime USD — and that is the proof of your balance.
- To see whether that vault earns points, check Eligible Strategies on the Campaign screen.
Buy a stock basket
- Connect your wallet on the page of the basket you want and create your own smart account.
- Deposit USDT into that account. You can start from a minimum of 1 USDT.
- Press "Build the index" and the constituent names are bought together in a single transaction, with the stock tokens landing in your own account.
Request a withdrawal
- With a vault, you request a withdrawal and then enter a waiting period. Delta-Neutral Prime USD takes a minimum of 7 days and the request is valid for 14; the rest are weekly or monthly.
- A stock basket can be converted back to stablecoins all at once in a single transaction, or sold name by name.
- Withdrawing a vault balance in full resets your Loyalty multiplier and wipes out the Genesis multiplier gains as well.
Whether you can use it from Japan cannot be settled from the official terms alone. The exclusions the app spells out are the United States, mainland China, Hong Kong and sanctioned jurisdictions, and Japan is not among them — but neither is it listed as a country where the service is available. The stock tokens in the baskets carry a separate condition: they are issued for users outside the United States.

Summary
City Protocol has released Venzo as an app where yield vaults run by outside asset managers and baskets of stock tokens can both be bought with stablecoins alone. The reserves and balances can be verified from outside, but those balances are held by a small number of large depositors, and how often you can withdraw differs by product. Points do accrue, yet what they convert into, and when, has not been decided.
