Nifty Island raised $20 million in a Pre-seed round in October 2021 from investors including SOLANA FOUNDATION and #HASHED.

Nifty Island is a Unity-based game with graphics better than most BCGs, and the feel is similar to Fortnite. Also, because you can play PvP such as races, deathmatches, and infection, there is relatively little feeling of grinding. It has a very friendly community where someone will answer your questions on Discord or in-game chat, so it's easy for beginners to enjoy. Like Sandbox and Decentraland, the fact that even people who don't own NFT Land can have their own space (Island), easily update it, and finish it to their liking might appeal to many gamers.

Because the number of participants is currently very low, the airdrop allocation percentage could be high. Nifty Island is currently in its final airdrop wave, the last chance before the release of the $ISLAND token. No wallet approval is required, only connection and signature. $ISLAND is an ERC-20 token positioned at the intersection of NFTs, gaming, and the metaverse, supporting the Nifty Island ecosystem and creator economy. The Token Genesis Event (TGE) will take place after the end of Wave 3.

You can earn $ISLAND by playing the game and sharing your island link. Airdrop points, Blooms, and Collector Tier are important. Points are earned through playtime and referring users, Blooms are off-chain in-game resources that are converted to points, and Collector Tier is based on NFT holdings and affects $ISLAND token allocation.

Wave 3 is the largest airdrop campaign, and first-time players can participate. New rewards and quests have been added, expanding opportunities to increase airdrop points.

If you were eligible in Wave 1 or Wave 2, you retain that eligibility in Wave 3. To gain new eligibility, you can acquire a Legendary palm, an NFT, or invite friends with a referral code. Information on all qualifications can be found on the airdrop page.

In-game tasks range from simple ones like saying GM in chat to tasks involving gameplay on your Island, allowing you to earn approximately 3,000 Blooms in about 20 minutes a day. You can earn up to 100 Blooms (=1 airdrop point) per hour by visiting other people's Islands, and you can also get Blooms by playing mini-games. Participating in limited-time quests gives you the chance to earn rewards such as Blooms and Legendary palms. You can also earn additional limited rewards by completing designated quests.
