What is Monad?

Monad is a cryptocurrency project for a layer-1 blockchain pursuing high-speed transaction processing and excellent scalability. Led by members from Jump Trading, among others, it aims for a processing capacity of over 10,000 TPS (Transactions Per Second). Furthermore, by adopting an EVM-compatible design that achieves high compatibility with Ethereum, it enables easy porting of existing smart contracts, promoting the development of diverse dApps (decentralized applications). Due to these technical features, improvements in scalability and user experience are expected, and it is attracting attention as a next-generation blockchain platform.

With the testnet launch announced to be imminent on February 19th, excitement is anticipated for on-chain projects and NFTs. Let's study up now so we don't miss out!

Thoughts on Monad NFTs

Many projects are adopting a whitelist (WL) system, and the basic flow is to acquire a WL through participation in Discord and Twitter tasks or collaborative projects. In most cases, if you can get a WL, you can mint for free or at a low price.

Several projects (BlockNads, Monadians, ChogNFT, SLMND, etc.) have been accepted into "Mach 2", Monad Labs' official accelerator. These projects receive support and mentoring from Monad Labs and tend to have generous whitelist distributions and future benefits.

・Summary: Early participation in the community is the best shortcut Every project basically has a structure where priority is given to those who participate early and contribute to the community. Specifically, it's important to continuously engage in "activities on Discord," "participation in official Twitter campaigns," and "checking collaborative projects with partner communities." Since most are scheduled to be minted for free or at a low price, the best strategy is to aim for winning a spot and then execute the mint after the mainnet launch.
