Yay!
https://candydrops.xyz/projects/yay Yay! is a community platform that launched in 2020 and currently has over 9 million registered users and over 100,000 communities. I even saw that famous Japanese cryptocurrency community there. $EMPL, distributed according to contributions within the community, can be converted to $YAY for trading. The feel of it reminded me of Line Open Chat, combining Web2-like UI/UX with tokenomics. They have raised 1.6 billion yen in funding from SBI, FFGVenturesCapital, DG DaiwaVentures, and others.
Aggregata
https://candydrops.xyz/projects/aggregata Aggregata is a platform that provides a decentralized ecosystem integrating AI data, models, and computing power. Users can earn tokens by installing the Chrome extension and providing their conversations as model training data. For users who want to utilize data, an open data marketplace, training tools, and model hosting services are provided, making AI data available at a more affordable price with robustness and transparency. It has been adopted by Binance MVB VII.
Toki
https://candydrops.xyz/projects/toki Toki is a cross-chain bridge for fast and secure inter-blockchain communication. By combining TEE (Trusted Execution Environment) and ZKP (Zero-Knowledge Proof), it ensures high security and improves the reliability of messages between blockchains. In the initial stages, it plans to bridge Cosmos chains and EVM chains. It is also collaborating with MUFG's progmat to support the issuance of stablecoins compliant with Japanese regulations, which will be available on Cosmos chains, EVM chains, and others.
Satlayer
https://candydrops.xyz/projects/satlayer Satlayer is a restaking layer built on Babylon, which utilizes Bitcoin as a staking token. Satlayer allows users to restake tokens earned by staking Bitcoin on Bedrock or Solv. Stakers can earn additional revenue, and restaking further strengthens BVS (Bitcoin Validation Services) and enables new features. They have raised $8M in funding from HackVC, OKXVentures, and others.
Interesting Projects Not Yet Featured in Articles
- Bedrock - BTC Restaking. It's been talked about as having the largest amount of deposits in the popular Babylon.
- Skate chain - Layer1 HubChain. A stateless chain that seamlessly connects Polygon, OP, non-EVM, etc.
- rango exchange - DeFi routing app. Supports over 68 chains and over 80 bridges.
- CycleNetwork - Data layer connecting inter-chain. Backed by Binance
A Word from the Author
This week, Grass's token allocation confirmation site was published. The number of tokens was so small that there are concerns that it will only cover electricity costs unless referrals etc. are utilized. I got 28 tokens.
There was hardly any noteworthy news regarding airdrops, and perhaps due to the declining cryptocurrency market, impressions and engagement related to airdrops are trending downwards. It seems best to do what we can in this environment without overdoing it. This month's big event is Ton's Catizen. The future of Ton tokens seems to depend on how much Catizen will be priced at.
The author's next week will be spent researching projects connected through KBW and searching for promising airdrops. Other events this month include Token2049 in Singapore and the Tokyo Bitcoin Conference, so I will share any interesting information as it becomes available.
We are also currently working on a reward system using CandyDrops points, and we are discussing how and what to distribute to please everyone. Further details will be announced soon, so please stay tuned!
Interesting Article
https://t.co/cmbyBM8lPV This is how to find promising projects written in Russian. The article was written in 2023, so it's a bit outdated, and the communities introduced are in the Russian-speaking world, which is a shame, but the content is very easy to understand and close to our approach. I strongly resonate with the point about the quality and speed of information, and the importance of discovering and reaching projects before their recognition matures, and we will continue to disseminate such projects.
