Avantis is a decentralized finance (DeFi) platform that offers perpetual contracts in cryptocurrency, foreign exchange, and commodity markets. Users can invest in price fluctuations in these markets and utilize leverage of up to 100x. The platform leverages funds from liquidity providers (LPs) to provide trading liquidity to users. LPs deposit assets into market-making vaults using USDC and earn revenue from trading fees and trader losses.

The platform is designed to provide an optimal trading experience while protecting user funds. In particular, it features a dynamic risk tranche system for risk management and a unique liquidation mechanism. It also supports various order types (market, limit, stop), and trading fees are dynamically adjusted according to asset class and leverage.

Avantis emphasizes competitive fees and user safety with its native wallet, making it an attractive platform for both traders and LPs. LPs can adjust their positions according to their risk tolerance and reflect their own market views.

Funding Status

Avantis raised $4 million in a seed round in September 2023 from investors such as PANTERA, BASE, and Galaxe.

Airdrop Information

Avantis XP is a point system that evaluates users' on-chain activity in real time. Liquidity providers (LPs) earn liquidity XP, and traders earn trading XP. Liquidity XP is accrued based on the lock-up period and investment amount. Trading XP includes XP based on trading volume and XP from referrals. These XPs are non-transferable and have no monetary value, but may be eligible for future rewards.
