What Is over.computer | A Solana Prop Firm Where You Rent an Account by the Day: How to Use It, Fees and Airdrop

over.computer is a prop firm on Solana. You rent a simulated trading account, called a "desk," for a daily fee, trade with it, and receive 80% of the profit in USDC. The markets on offer are tokenized stocks and crypto perpetual futures (perps). A typical prop firm makes you pay an upfront challenge fee and pass an evaluation, but at over.computer you are charged only while your desk is open. As of October 27, 2026, the app is invite-only, and paid desks and the sale of the $OVER token have yet to begin.

What Is over.computer | A Solana Prop Firm Where You Rent an Account by the Day

A prop firm lets traders trade with the firm's account and splits the profit with them. At over.computer, you deposit USDC into your balance, choose an account size and a max loss (3%, 5%, 7% or 8%), and open a "desk." Account sizes run from $2,000 to $1 million (up to $100,000 at launch).

The official blog describes using it to go long or short stocks such as NVDA without a brokerage account, and to borrow a large account size. Humans and AI agents are designed to use it through the same steps under the same rules, and desks run by an agent count toward the three desks you can have open at once.

The CEO points out that upfront-fee firms charge the same amount whether your trading lasts two days or two months, and argues that Over, which earns only while you keep trading, has its interests aligned with its users.

Fills come from real order books, and records stay on Solana

The account is simulated, but prices come from the real market. Perp orders fill by walking the Phoenix and Hyperliquid order books for the size of the order. Open positions are marked at the price on the side you would use to close them.

A desk's terms and its profit payout cap are recorded in a Solana program (MissionRegistry) when the desk is opened, and cannot be changed afterward. Trade records are also batched every 10 minutes and written to a separate program (EvidenceRegistry), but balances, trade details and names are not put on-chain. Neither program holds funds; the money used to pay out profits and the fees each go into separate multisigs (vaults that need approval from several people).

The company and team

The operator is Over S.A., a Panamanian company, and the terms of service are governed by Panamanian law. The MetaDAO project page lists three founding members, including CEO Li Feyerabend. Komorebi Collective and Monke Ventures are named as backers. The company says the smart contract design was reviewed by Runtime Verification and VulSight.

over.computer Fees and How Profit Payouts Work

What you pay at over.computer is not a per-trade fee but a fee based on the number of days your desk stays open.

How much is the daily fee?

There are no trading fees. Instead, a daily fee is charged on the "room" (the amount you are allowed to lose), which is the account size multiplied by the max loss, and it is deducted from your balance every hour. The rate changes slightly with the number of days since the desk was opened, and there is a minimum amount per day.

The example given is a $10,000 desk with an 8% max loss. It costs $4.40 a day for the first three days and $4.00 a day after that, which works out to about 0.5% a day on the $800 of room. You can open a desk with as little as $9 in your balance, but when you open one, several days' worth of fees for all of your desks are set aside in your balance as a hold, not deducted. The only published example is this one $10,000, 8% max loss desk; the full rate table and the payout caps are listed as "coming soon."

How it compares with other firms' challenges and trading your own money

Most other firms, such as SizeProp, make you pay a challenge fee first. In the official comparison, under the same $10,000, 8% terms, over.computer holds $14.40 at opening and you lose at most $24 over the first five days. With $100 you can keep going for about 24 days. By contrast, an instant-funding competitor charges $337 upfront, and you do not get it back if you fail. If you trade Hyperliquid with your own money at 40x leverage, $250 of margin is wiped out by a 1.25% adverse move.

That said, this comparison assumes you fail early. Even assuming a $10,000, 8% desk stays at $4.00 a day for the maximum 100 days, the fees add up to about $400, more than the $337 an upfront firm charges. The pricing favors people who try it out over a short period.

Max loss (floor) and trading rules

You choose a max loss of 3%, 5%, 7% or 8%. The loss limit (floor) is set by your balance at opening and does not rise even if your balance grows later. For a $10,000, 8% desk, the floor is $9,200. There are no profit targets, no limits on concentration in a single asset, and no minimum number of trading days. A desk lasts up to 100 days. You can have up to three desks open at once, including those run by AI agents.

Conditions for receiving 80% of profit

You receive 80% of the profit in USDC on Solana. The homepage says you can be paid every five days once you are up 3% or more.

There are two limits on how much you can receive. One is the "payout credit," which builds up with the fees you pay and grows the longer you keep going. The other is a per-desk cap (payout cap). Before you take a payout, close all of your positions.

After a payout, the account resets to its starting size, and profit you did not withdraw does not carry over. Even if you win big over a short period, if you have paid little in fees, the amount you can receive may hit the ceiling of your credit.

How to Use over.computer | Invite Codes and What to Prepare Before You Start

As of October 27, 2026, the over.computer app is invite-only. When you open the app, it says "Over is invite-only." and shows a field for an invite code. If you do not have a code, you can join the waitlist below it, and people who have already registered get in through Sign in.

After logging in, you connect a Solana wallet such as Phantom, deposit USDC and open a desk. The team says more than 200 traders have helped improve the product since the soft launch, and that several thousand people are on the waitlist. Paid desks are scheduled to launch before the token.

You must be 18 or older, and identity verification is required before profits are sent. US persons and residents of 11 countries, including Germany, the UK, France, Singapore and Australia, cannot use it. Using a VPN is also prohibited. Japan is not among the excluded countries in the terms, but nothing from the team explicitly says it can be used from Japan.

Is There an over.computer Airdrop? The $OVER MetaDAO Raise and a Free Competition

There is no airdrop announcement on the official site, the docs or the official X account. The plan is to distribute the $OVER token through a sale (raise) on MetaDAO.

$OVER is scheduled to be sold on MetaDAO

The MetaDAO raise page has not gone live yet; it shows a minimum target of $250,000 and a start date of "Date to be announced." However, the official X account and the CEO have announced that the raise starts on Thursday, October 29.

Image: screenshot of MetaDAO (captured October 27, 2026)

The MetaDAO page says the funds raised will go 30% to growth and user acquisition, 30% to a reserve for profit payouts, and 20% each to the core team and to agent and security infrastructure. Unlocks of the team's tokens are to be tied to performance. On CoinGecko, the "OVER" ticker is used by a different project, Overtime, and over.computer's token is not listed. Watch out for a different token with the same ticker.

"Path to $1M," a free weekly competition

Path to $1M is a weekly trading competition. On October 27, the registration page showed "Batch 5 is open" and "Free entry. Limited seats." with a Claim your seat button. The official X account announced it on October 9 as a weekly competition aiming at a $1 million funded account. "Trader of the month," which pays USDC to whoever takes home the most profit in a month, is also said to be starting soon.

Is over.computer Legit? Things to Know Before You Use It

First, the accounts and balances are all simulated. You are not given real funds, margin or leverage, and you have no rights to any stocks, tokens or positions. Fees you pay are not refunded for any reason.

Second, some official pages still carry outdated descriptions. The early-October official blog, the competitor comparison page (compare) and the docs summary file (llms.txt) still describe the earlier "mission" system.

ItemEarlier mission systemCurrent desk system
FeesOne-time $38–$649Daily
Profit targetRequired for payoutNone
Daily loss limit3%None

The fees and rules in this article are those of the current desk system.

There is also limited material for verifying how it works. The docs page Contract addresses & deployments still says "Coming soon." The addresses of contracts such as MissionRegistry have not been published yet. The docs also state plainly that the proof of trade records shows the records have not been altered, but does not prove that the market prices were correct.

Summary

over.computer is a prop firm on Solana. Instead of an upfront challenge fee, you rent a simulated desk for a daily fee and receive 80% of the profit in USDC. If you fail early, you lose only a few tens of dollars; on the other hand, the total fees for a long run and the payout ceiling cannot be estimated until the rate table and caps are published. For now you can join the waitlist and the free competition, and the $OVER raise has been announced to start on October 29.
